and promote “Jazz On The Road - Latin Jazz Special” on 19th November
at The Empowering Church in Hackney, London.
He’s gonna give us 45mins “Vinyl only” LIVE mix of rare & classic latin jazz.
Kay Suzuki’s usual twisted funky jazzy soulful sweet dirty electronice
dance music experience is full on as usual too!!
For those who don’t know Koichi Sakai. He is a London based Japanese
DJ/producer and known as one of the top promoter & DJ in London’s
Jazz/Afro Caribean music scene. One of his night featuring Fela Kuti’s
former pianist Dele Sosimi’s 4hours full band live set “Afrobeat Viberation”
is one of the hottest night everyone is talking about now!!

This time we’re celebrating the release of
Kay Suzuki’s “The b i p o l a r EP” finally out on
Fresh Minute Music this weekend at your favorite record shops.
Also after midnight is the man’s 30th birthday and we have
all the family line up for guesting the night…
Another resident and one of the best afro DJ in London Koichi Sakai is back from his long trip from Japan!
And as you know, We need to celebrate the life of
our brother, uncle, Idol and hero Michael Jackson…
There will be new h from ” b i p o l a r promo cutz”
series coming out in a few weeks featuring all new
re-edits of MJ tunes by Kay Sputnik… so this night is
gonna be pre-experience of the release as well..
so yes, we have lot to celebrate…

the geffrye museum. wicked roofed garden with intimate

A Twisted Funky Soulful Jazzy Sweet Dirty Electronic Experience ” b i p o l a r ” is the brainchild of the hardest working Japanese DJ/Producer Kay Suzuki and has been building up its own party style with diverse funkness in many styles. House, Broken, Detroit Techno, Disco, Jazz, Afro beat, whatever b i p o l a r has to offer to the floor, it’s all about tenshion and release with the groove and feeling make your body move! Celebrating the launch of its own label in Japan, the party takes place in the main floor of Plan B @ Brixton with Bugz In The Attic on the dex and analog synth(!) alongside Colonel Red on his microphone. It’s one of the biggest party of the year, don’t be missed!!!
We have been running this party on 1st Friday of the month since May 2007. We have had guests such as Domu, Jazztronik, Afronaut, Patrick Forge, Colonel Red, Magic, Souled, Aroop Roy to name but a few… and this month we are pleased to welcome one of London’s best soulful sound system “GENERIKA Hi-Fi SOUND” crew for our 1st Anniversary.
